As we look forward to opening up later this summer, you can help us get the wheels turning again by purchasing a voucher through the business saving service at Lean On Me Limerick – We got our first notification of a voucher bought today, 18th May, and to say it gave it us a massive boost would be an understatement. It’s been a difficult time while being out of operation, and also for many of our friends and market neighbours too – also none of us knew initially what shape the return to the Market would take in light of all that has happened.
But in the last week, chinks of light have begun to appear and fresh plans have been made and although not a return to what we knew, they offer fresh opportunities – and something to plan and aim for as we absorb the new landscape around us.
In association with the Milk Market, we will be creating a new space at The Potato Market, to accommodate all the safety measures and space guidelines we have that keep us all safe while the later phases of reopening for business take place. Some fantastic improvements to the layout of this area have been carried out while the space has been empty of cars during the lockdown stage. Being next to the Hunt Museum and part of Limericks heritage gives us a wonderful canvas on which to paint our return.
The space is also perfect to offer our click and collect service, where you can reserve an order to collect by car – you won’t need to leave your vehicle while pack your pre paid order into the boot for you. if you’re looking for something not listed in our shop, just send us an email and we can use our knowledge of Ireland’s best nurseries to find you what you are looking for, or get together a plant selection for you individually.
