HELP US RECOVER FROM LOST TURNOVER DURING THE COVID19 PANDEMIC
It’s no understatement to say everyone has been affected by the lockdown and business interruption this spring and early summer – we lost our entire calendar of wedding bookings for this year, which represents a massive loss of turnover and naturally following investment of profit into our flower farm. Though 95% of our Brides have now rebooked for dates in 2021, we are missing a vital portion of our constant re-investment for this year, for flowers and plants we would grow during summer and autumn – just as things were starting to look fruitful.
Options small businesses have for filling this shortfall are few, and some have hidden costs in commission to the suppliers of some schemes – so we spent some time talking it over and coming with up with an idea that was a little bit different, something to get excited and energised about with a promise of growth and renewal and a way of helping our customers feel connected to what we do more than ever – and we came up with Flowers Squared…
Simply put – we are asking for sponsors for a 2m x 2m Square of Socially Distant Flower Farm –
The cost of sponsoring a Square covers the investment of flowers and foliage in a 2m x 2m square for one season, which is €110.00
Sponsors of a Square will receive a choice of one of the following gifts, available from August 2020 and up to end of September 2021:
A stylish gift bouquet, of locally grown flowers or dried flowers delivered anywhere in Limerick in earth friendly gift wrapping.
A luxury Christmas Wreath made from Irish grown foliage delivered anywhere in Limerick (Available from 1st December – 20th December).
A place on any of our seasonal workshops, which we hope to begin scheduling during Phase 5 of the Reopening Plan issued by the State.

All sponsors will be given a 10% off all purchases loyalty card and invited to an on-farm workshop and celebration day during June 2021, when will have a garden party to celebrate our sponsors kind investment in growing locally and supplying weddings with sustainable and special celebration flowers – we will also update you with photographs and progress on your 2m Square throughout the life of your sponsorship.
